I've always been fascinated by art from a very young age. What I love most about art is very simple - it's ability to bring life to its surroundings! Growing up in India, with an artistic influence, I was fascinated by the depth and fluidity of art through colours and designs very much like a river.
During my school days, I often painted "Warli Painting", a tribal art form from Western part of India that portrays the social and cultural aspects of people and their lives. What captivated me about this art form was its organic and sustainable nature, using rice flour mixed with gum and painted on brown mud houses.
After moving to Australia, my recent paintings have been strongly influenced by the beauty of the nature hikes I have taken with my partner. Whether it's capturing the rock formations along the Great Ocean Road or portraying kangaroos peeking through the bushland on a dry summer day, these experiences have infused my artwork with the beauty of the Australian landscape.
